The City, working with Westerville Industry and Commerce Corporation (WICC), the City’s community improvement corporation acquired the 88 acres of land in 2023 for the purposes of economic development. With the 2025 infrastructure investment by the City, there are five parcels ready for development.

Benefits of these sites:

• City controlled shovel ready sites of various sizes to perfectly fit your needs with incentives available based on project specifics. 

• City and WICC are master developers of infrastructure. End users may select developers of their choosing.  

• Regional stormwater retention ponds as part of the overall development. You will not need to include this as part of your site plans.

• ~25% of the overall area is dedicated to green space. This will include sidewalks and bike paths connecting you to surrounding amenities.

The City has invested over $30 million dollars in infrastructure in 2025 to install roads, sidewalks, utilities, green space and more. Construction will be substantially finished by Q4 2025, and landscaping and final improvements completed by Q3 2026.

Westerville has a proven history of being able to develop infrastructure alongside corporate investment. In 2018, the City extended Westar Blvd in tandem with the development of the North American Headquarters for DHL, delivering the project on time.
