Lewisberry Borough Electric owns and maintains the electric distribution in the community. As a local, municipal electric service, citizens take part in electing representatives to the governing board and may attend their open meetings to voice any concerns. All electric matters are handled locally by local personnel. We are members of a non-profit organization, American Municipal Power (AMP), who serves members in six states and assists in providing for the generation, transmission and distribution of electric energy to our customers, and provides a wide range of other services as needed. Together, we strive to provide quality, economically-priced power to our customers.
